The main purpose of the role is to provide timely, accurate, relevant financial information to a specific allocated group of budget holders, to support effective decision making.

To provide professional support and challenge to their budget holders in the delivery of their financial and budget objectives.

To play an integral part in the overall financial budgeting, monitoring and forecasting for West Mercia Police.

To ensure the effective delivery of financial information to meet the aims of West Mercia Police and comply with legislation, accounting standards and Financial regulations.

To ensure effective control of Treasury, Capital, Assets, Taxation and Pensions.
