The CATE team is currently being formed to tackle Child Abuse, Trafficking and Exploitation in Warwickshire.

CATE will be a specialist team initially based in Leamington, but will eventually operate across three hubs with bases also in Nuneaton and Rugby.

We are now inviting transferee applications from Detective Sergeants, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a new initiative for Warwickshire Police

We are asking that Detectives who would like to apply are PIP Level 2 trained and have completed their Specialist Child Abuse Investigations Development Programme (SCAIDP) course, or are working towards this.

These are demanding but rewarding roles and would suit officers who enjoy interviewing vulnerable victims, partnership working and investigating complex cases; protecting some of the county’s most vulnerable people.
